Digital is optimal: LAUDA Digital thermometers
We have designed two digital thermometers in the form of the LAUDA DigiCal range which are ideal for use for precision temperature measurements and calibration. The DCM 2 is a mobile, battery-operated hand-held device which can also be used in the field. The DCS 2 is a stationary table-top device with permanently connected first probe especially suited to the calibrating laboratory. It has two analogue, scalable power outlets which can be used for connecting a continuous line recorder, for example, allowing you to easily prove temporal stability. In order to minimise measuring inaccuracy, both models come with a Pt 100 sensor, calibrated and adjusted together with the measuring amplifier.
Recommended accessories (for both devices) Pt 100 temperature probe, DKD calibration certificate (two selectable temperatures in the range from -50 up to 300 °C), RS 232 cable, software
Standard accessories Pt 100 temperature probe, for DCM 2: two batteries for DCS 2: power supply and calibration certificate
- DCM 2 only:   Power supply, case, battery with charger,   factory calibration certificate (two-point: 0 and 150 °C)
Performance profile of the DigiCal: - Measuring range from -200 up to 450 °C. - High precision with a measuring inaccuracy of 0.03 °C   in the temperature range from -100 up to 150 °C for   the calibrated measuring sequence - Resolution of indication of 0.01 °C in the range   from -200 up to 200 °C and 0.1 °C in the   range from 200 up to 450 °C - A second measuring channel can be extended by   temperature probe if required - Galvanically isolated RS 232 interface - Digital data recording via the RS 232 interface with   the optional PC program
